– You are going to see main port with three hotels (Istria, Karmen, Neptun). You will see a vila of Paul Kupelwieser (the first owner of the Brijuni islands) named „Vila Kaštel“, then the golf fields of Brijuni with big open spaces where we often see many animals such as deers and peecocks. Later on we’re passing close to „Mali Brijuni“ (eng. „Small Brijuni“) island where is placed famous old fortress „Minor“ from Austro-Hungarian time which is today remade into theater and next to it it’s famous fish shape island Gaž. We’re also seeing the Tito’s island Vanga which is the most preserved island of the National park and island Galia which is possible to rent for 2000€ per day. Near the end of the tour we’re seeing the president vila named Vila Brijunka and beautifull lighthouse Peneda. Passing close to the military zone of Brijuni we are seeing 3 more private vilas and then we’re comming to the island Sv. Jerolim where you can stay for 2/4/6 hours untill the last boat picks you up, this island has very rich underworld so we highly reccomend you taking your snorkling gear if you have some (if you want to make just a tour itself withoat staying on the island it’s also possible).
How long does it take and how much it costs?
– It takes only 1 hour and 30 minutes to see the whole National park, and then we are arriving on the sv. Jerolim where you can stay for for 2,4 or 6 hours. Return from the island to Fažana lasts 15 minutes.
– Excursion costs 150KN per adult person (above 12yrs), half price (75KN) for the children beetwen 4 and 12 years and children under 4 years are free. If you are staying on the Sv. Jerolim island for swimming you need to pay entry fee to enter the NP island, 40KN per adults and 20KN for children.
